Diamond Taq® polymerases

Diamond Taq® DNA polymerase is a highly thermostable enzyme produced and purified from recombinant Escherichia coli bacterium containing the Thermus aquaticus DNA Polymerase gene. The expressed enzyme catalyzes 5’→3’ synthesis of DNA with no detectable 3’→5’ proof reading exonuclease activity. This enzyme has the “extendase” activity allowing TA cloning.

Diamond Taq® polymerase is ultra pure polymerase showing very good sensitivity and exceptional reproducibility. It offers an ideal solution for Molecular Diagnostic and is particularly recommended for PCR applications that require ultra low levels of bacterial & fungal DNA and demanding Research fields.

Diamond Taq® is provided at a concentration of 5 U/μl with 10x reaction buffer and MgCl2 solution.
- 10x Reaction buffer: 750 mM Tris-HCl, 200 mM (NH4)2SO4, 0.1 % (v/v) Tween 20 and stabilizer, pH 8.8 (at 19 °C).
- MgCl2 solution: 25 mM MgCl2
- Enzyme storage buffer: 20 mM Tris-HCl, 1 mM DTT, 0.1 mM EDTA, 0.1 M KCl, 0.5 % (v/v) Nonidet P40, 0.5 % (v/v) Tween 20, 50 % (v/v) glycerol and stabilizer pH 8.0 (19 °C)
